The main impact of the photovoltaic industry chain

(I), from the perspective of all aspects of the industrial chain, the uneven development of technology and the gap between supply and demand of production capacity restrict the healthy development of the industry.

From the perspective of the domestic solar industry chain, the overall level of solar photovoltaic technology is not high, and the core technology is mostly dependent on foreign countries. Among them, the source polysilicon material production technology is low, the independent innovation ability of mid-end solar cell manufacturing technology is not high, and the downstream photovoltaic power generation integration technology is not inferior to foreign countries. At the same time, there is a large gap in the production capacity of various products. In 2006, the output of polysilicon was 300t, accounting for about 1% of the world's total output, which could only meet the production of 30MW solar cells. In the same year, the domestic output of solar cells reached 369.5MW, ranking fourth in the world, while the annual installation capacity of photovoltaic was only 10MW. The application market of downstream photovoltaic products has not yet been opened, the application level is low, and the gap between supply and demand at all ends of the industrial chain is large. In the long run, the imbalance of supply and demand within the industry and the low capacity of independent research and development of the industry are not conducive to the healthy development of China's solar photovoltaic industry.

(II), from the perspective of the industrial chain as a whole, China's solar energy industry is concentrated in the middle, with both ends outside, and the scale of the whole industry is not high.

From the perspective of the development of the whole industry, the production of solar energy products in China is in the forefront of the world, but the production of raw materials that restrict the whole photovoltaic cost is highly dependent on foreign countries. At the same time, most of the products with high added value are exported. In the solar photovoltaic industry, China has become a solar product processing plant. From the end of the product, the development of China's photovoltaic industry is slow, far less than the developed level, and there is still a distance between the scale of the industry.
